Mixed Media Collage

My mixed media collages incorporate a variety of collected imagery with acrylic paint, experimental media, and craft materials. Each work is one of a kind, though they are connected through theme and materials. My work explores topics like body image, memory, mental and physical illness, identity, feminism, gender roles, politics, and personality because I feel it is necessary to expose what is below the surface in my art. I also make work that could be viewed as nonsensical, snarky, humorous, or a celebration of not taking life too seriously.
